Jigged squid refers to squid caught with a line. Squid are often caught after dark using torches and reflective bait. The fisherman "jigs" the line up and down to attract the squid. This method has next to no environmental impact and does not interfere with the squid's breeding cycle.Squid are also an abundant, fast growing species. A very sustainable choice.
